Movement Direction for High Altitudes, a video companion, commissioned by 4:3, showcasing, Season 9 of HANGER’s collection.

Nature is unruly; mutinous and uncompromising. HANGER’s Season 9 turns towards the mountains – toward a physical and spiritual high, exploring the essence of Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing. The collection resists human-centric notions of apocalypse, taking the viewer on a journey beginning in water, travelling up mountains and into the forest. The forest occupies a mythical space in the human imagination, through which HANGER enters a new temporality of out of body sensations and pure high – of “High Altitudes”.
